We bolted the motor and transmission together outside of the hearse at about 1AM and managed to get them back inside with the help of Hef’s much larger cherry picker. We’re almost there. It was rather late.. seems like someone had the sleepy sillies. :)
As I understand it, she sat in a field somewhere in Kansas for 20 years… rats would be present in any car in that situation.
We even found rat crap in the engine when we took it apart. I am very glad this was done before we even messed with the air conditioning. (Can you imagine getting hit in the face with an old rat’s nest full of crap as soon as you turned the A/C on?)
